Windsurfing: Pevensey Bay
Wind Direction: NE
Wind Stength: Variable! (F4 - F6?)
Surf / Sea State: Choppy
Air Temperature: Warm
Sea Temperature: ? (good wetsuit!)
Weather: Lovely sunny day

Distance Covered:

NE winds meant the usual Shoreham -> Pevensey relocation, and it was nice to see some familiar faces and catch up with people I've not seen for ages.

The sailing wasn't brilliant, but I had to be back in Brighton early anyway so wasn't really bothered. Nice to be back out there anyway!

I was expecting the NE wind to be cold, but not a bit of it. It was lovely and warm all day, and distinctly unadventurous sailing meant keeping dry most of the time, so I simply can't say if the water was cold or not as I didn't feel it even when I did fall in (which was, unfortunately, more than usual).

It would normally go down as a crap sail, but due to the warm weather and good company it goes down as quite a good one (although not helped by rigging a 5.4m which was really too big for my lightweight frame).

I got back to Brighton in time to share some beers in the sun on the beach with some old Uni friends, so it was all smiles at the end of the day :-)
